groupVirtual Patient Reference Group (PRG)

The PRG is a “virtual” group (i.e. a group that does not physically meet but conducts its business by email) which has been set up in response to the requirements of NHS England to allow the greatest possible consultation with patients on matters related to the functioning of facilities and services provided at or through the Clift Surgery.

The Patient Reference Group will be asked from time to time as matters arise, to comment (usually to a deadline) upon proposals, concepts or patient research that are under consideration either by the Clift Surgery alone or by the group of surgeries within the area that form the North Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group – the body that, under NHS England, has responsibility for the commissioning of health care services in our area.

Any patient may submit their name to the surgery to become a member of Patient Reference Group. There is no limit on the number of members of the group and the surgery encourages all patients to become involved and have their say.
